This report summarizes findings from listening sessions about crisis response in New Haven held by Elm City COMPASS. Through a collaboration with the City of New Haven Department of Community Resilience, COMPASS conducted listening sessions with three types of New Haven service system partners – crisis response service providers, advocates whose work intersects with community crisis response, and faith leaders who often find themselves on the frontlines of crisis response. These sessions had three primary goals: 1) to inform service system partners about COMPASS; 2) to guide COMPASS implementation; and 3) to identify shared priorities to strengthen the crisis response service system.
